I turn ideas into products.
Full-stack developer with 10+ years of experience building web applications that are engaging, performant, and visually polished. I led the design and development team at SuperDataScience, an e-learning platform with 3.5M+ students; built Web3 frontends at Point Network; and worked on e-learning and training products at ForexBoat and Blink.it.
Since 2022 I've been working at Global Pioneers, a small software agency I co-founded. I work across the whole delivery cycle — requirements, design, build, launch, support — for clients ranging from early-stage startups to established platforms. AI-assisted workflows are built into how I work, which lets me deliver on timelines that normally require a bigger team.
I'm a developer who genuinely enjoys new tools — and a Meteor.js ambassador, after almost seven years of building everything in it. Meteor taught me how to build complex web applications with a real focus on user experience and performance. Over the years I've also expanded my knowledge into Next.js, and lately React Native and Expo for mobile applications.
In 2021 I started writing simple tutorials on how to do specific development tasks, mostly because I kept solving the same problems over and over. Over the years I've developed an interest in simplifying processes and development tasks, looking for ways to build products with the least amount of libraries and code.
I work on the design as well as the code, which is why I can never leave a layout alone. I studied computer science and graphic design, looking for the combination that would let me build products from the ground up.
What I can help with
Building it from scratch
Web and mobile applications in Meteor.js, Next.js, React and React Native — from an empty repository to something deployed, designed and handed over. Architecture, interface, and everything in between.
Auditing what you already pay for
Most stacks are quietly overspending on tools nobody chose deliberately. I go through yours, find what's actually being used, and where it makes sense, replace the expensive subscription with something purpose-built.
Taking over what someone else left behind
Inherited codebases with no documentation, no tests and a developer who's long gone. I get it running, work out what it does, and get you back to shipping features instead of guessing.
Making it fast
Slow load times, sluggish interactions, a mobile app that drains battery. I find where the time actually goes and fix it, with before-and-after numbers.
Staying on after launch
Cover for the work that never lands on anyone's roadmap — dependency updates, broken builds, the bug that only appears on one client's phone.
Get in touch
Email is the best way to reach me. Tell me what you're building, when you need it, and what's in the way — I'll come back with something concrete. I'm in Bogotá, so I overlap with the Americas and the first half of the European day.
